Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of ExpressRyder’s website, mobile app, and delivery platform. Please read them before using our services.
Last updated: June 20, 20261. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using ExpressRyder, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate account information, keep your account credentials secure, and use the service only where you are legally able to do so. If you use ExpressRyder for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Our delivery platform
ExpressRyder provides a technology platform that helps customers request deliveries and helps eligible Ryders receive and fulfil delivery opportunities. Delivery availability, vehicle options, estimated times, routes, and prices may vary based on location, demand, package details, traffic, weather, and other operational conditions.
3. Booking a delivery
You are responsible for ensuring that pickup and drop-off details, package descriptions, contact details, and delivery instructions are complete and accurate. You must package items appropriately and ensure that the sender and recipient are available where required for collection or delivery.
You must not book the delivery of prohibited, dangerous, illegal, perishable, or improperly packaged items. We may refuse, cancel, or suspend a delivery where we reasonably believe it presents a safety, legal, or operational risk.
4. Pricing, payments, and cancellations
Any price displayed before confirmation is based on the information available at the time and may change if delivery details, route, waiting time, item requirements, or other relevant conditions change. You authorise us and our payment providers to process applicable charges. Cancellation, waiting-time, failed-delivery, or additional service charges may apply where disclosed during booking or required to complete the delivery.
5. Ryder responsibilities
Ryders must maintain accurate profile information, required documentation, lawful vehicle operation, and any licences, insurance, approvals, or permissions required for their work. Ryders must follow delivery instructions, use the platform responsibly, communicate professionally, and comply with applicable laws and safety requirements.
6. Acceptable use and safety
You must not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, create fraudulent bookings, impersonate another person, harass users or Ryders, bypass security controls, or use ExpressRyder for unlawful activity. We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect users, Ryders, ExpressRyder, or the public.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
We work to provide a reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, Ryder availability, delivery times, or that every delivery request will be accepted or completed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, ExpressRyder is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms, modify the platform, or suspend or end access to the service where reasonably necessary. If you continue using ExpressRyder after updated terms take effect, you accept the revised terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
