Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ExpressRyder collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, mobile app, and delivery services.

Last updated: June 20, 2026

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you create an account, book a delivery, contact support, submit Ryder documents, or make a payment. This can include your name, phone number, email address, profile photo, pickup and drop-off details, package and recipient information, payment-related information, and communications with our support team or delivery partners.

We may also collect device, app, and usage information, including identifiers, log data, crash reports, and analytics events. When you use location-based features or complete a delivery, we collect precise or approximate location information as needed to provide booking, matching, navigation, live tracking, and safety features.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and improve ExpressRyder, including to create and manage accounts, process bookings and payments, match deliveries with Ryders, provide live delivery updates and chat, verify Ryder eligibility, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand service performance and improve our products. We only send marketing messages where permitted by law; you can opt out using the instructions in the message or by contacting us.

3. How we share information

To complete a delivery, we share the information needed by the relevant customer, sender, recipient, and assigned Ryder. This can include names, contact details, pickup and drop-off locations, package instructions, delivery status, and location updates while the delivery is active.

We may also share information with service providers that help us run ExpressRyder, such as cloud hosting, authentication, communications, analytics, maps, payment, and customer support providers. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

4. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal, tax, accounting, and safety obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and why it was collected.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your choices and rights

You may update certain account details in the app and control device permissions, including location permissions, through your device settings. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal information.

To make a request or ask a privacy question, contact us at support@expressryder.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
